Don Jazzy’s real name is Michael Collins Ajereh and he is 37 years old. He was born on the 26th of November 1982. He is firstly a record producer, a singer, songwriter, and the CEO of Malvin Record.  He was born in Umuahia Abia State which also happens to be his mum’s state of origin. Don Jazzy hails from Isoko in Delta state. He has three siblings D’prince, Joy Solano and James Enebeli Collins.

Don Jazzy is known to have created Mo Hits records alongside his then partner D’banj. The record label, however, is no longer in existence as both partners went their separate ways. He then single-handedly founded Mavin Records also known as Supreme Mavin Dynasty.  His new record label could boast of recruiting stars in the music industry the likes of  Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, D prince, and Di’ja. He has produced over five albums since the beginning of his career as a producer. Ajereh being a smart person, went into partnership with a Nigerian technology expert, Mr. Dele Odufuye to launch Flobyt Wifi in 2017. Flobyt Wifi is a free wifi service that is installed across locations in partnership with them in Lagos State and will also help lovers of Mavin music stream their favorite songs.

Don Jazzy Personal Life

His family migrated to Ajegunle, in Lagos where Don Jazzy was raised. He received his secondary education at the co-educational high school, Federal Government College in  Lagos. He picked up interest in music early in life and began playing the bass guitar when he was 12. He also acquired knowledge of traditional and percussion instruments. Don Jazzy enrolled for the study of business management at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo state.

In 2000, he went on a visit to London. His uncle had invited him to play the drums for the local church. In London, Don Jazzy continued his interest in music, associating with Solek, JJC, Kas, The 419 Squad and D’Banj. It is believed that he learned to produce skills from Emeka Infiniti at O-Town record company.  He is not married presently and has never been.  He currently has no known spouse. Although he has been in relationships with the likes of Freda and Tonto Dike with the latter being a very short-lived one.
