On April 3, 1963, Moore entered into another failed marriage with her third spouse, entertainer Ryan O’Neal. The couple had two kids: Tatum O’Neal (b. 1963) and Griffin O’Neal (b. 1964).

The marriage was stormy and the couple isolated in mid-1966. In February 1967, their separation became final. In February 1975, she wedded a material worker for hire, Gary L. Reeves. They separated in 1977.
