Wizkids’ breakthrough in the Nigerian music industry started after he signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009. He was recognized greatly in 2011 after releasing “Holla at Your Boy“, which was the lead single from his debut studio album Superstar (2011). Other singles released from the Superstar album include: “Tease Me/Bad Guys“, “Don’t Dull“, “Love My Baby“, “Pakurumo” and “Oluwa Lo Ni.”
In September 2014, Wizkid released his second album titled “Ayo“, and the following singles were included in this album: “Jaiye Jaiye“, “On Top Your Matter“, “One Question“, “Joy“, “Bombay” and “Show You the Money“. And that was the end of Wizkids’ contract with E.M.E record label.
